About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Ecommerce Financial Analyst to support financial tracking, reporting, and performance analysis across our ecommerce brands, including Pickle Bricks and Action Figz.
This role focuses on understanding the financial health of the business—analyzing revenue, costs, advertising performance, and profitability to help guide smarter business decisions. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates interested in ecommerce, finance, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
-Track and analyze revenue, expenses, and overall profitability
-Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), margins, and product-level performance
-Analyze advertising performance (Meta ads, etc.) including:
-Cost per purchase
-ROAS vs actual profit
-Build and maintain simple financial reports and dashboards
-Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve profitability
-Assist with budgeting and forecasting
-Support organization of financial data for tax preparation and CPA review
-Work cross-functionally to provide insights that improve business performance
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Basic understanding of financial concepts (revenue, profit, margins, expenses)
Proficiency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)
Ability to organize and interpret data clearly
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
Strong communication skills (ability to explain findings clearly)
Preferred Qualifications
Background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
Interest in ecommerce, digital marketing, or data analysis
Familiarity with concepts like ROAS, CPA, and profit margins
Experience working with spreadsheets, dashboards, or financial reports
Basic understanding of online business models or advertising platforms
Experience with tools such as Wix, Google Sheets, Excel, or analytics platforms
